Morning travel by tourist coach or in private vehicle (depending upon the size of the group) towards amazing Pokhara valley, drive leads through Himalayan foothills, on arrival at Pokhara transfer to respective hotels close to beautiful Phewa Lake with afternoon free for short walks. Second day trek begins with a gentle climb into cool alpine forest of oaks and rhododendron tree lines with views of Annapurna peaks and Mt. Machhapuchhre, a pleasant trek for few hours till lunch then with an uphill climb and then descend to overnight stop at Panchase Bhanjyang 2,200 m a small village at the base of Panchase hill offering views of snow-capped mountain range.
Early morning hike up to Panchase hill top located at 2,509 meters for a super wide angle panorama of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Mt. Manaslu range of mountains, apart from super views it is a holy spot where pilgrim from around Annapurna area visits here for religious festivals once a year. After a great time with enjoyable moment descend to Bhanjyang and continue walk to Bhadaure village through serene forest till Bhadaure village, a moderate size Gurung village with views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna South.
Morning catching the views of mountains heading on the trail where few western trekkers seldom walk on this route, a gradual and pleasant walk with last uphill climb to reach at Naudanda with magnificent views of Annapurna Himalaya. From Naudanda our route leads along the ridge line and into warmer country of Hindus with Brahmin and Chettries villages, walk winds up reaching at famous at Sarankot for last overnight stop. This is one of the short duration moderate trek, please note that Nepal is a mountainous country with ups and down hills, there are few short ascend and descend on route, walking at your own easy pace will be the best way to enjoy the views and surrounding environment.
Depending upon the season of trekking, autumn and winter months can get cold above 2,000 meters especially morning and night time but the day is pleasant with sunny days most of the season. Other season beside monsoon / wet months is pleasant with occasional thunder showers during late afternoon.
As you will be trekking on away from the mainstream trekking trails, the lodges for few days are simple with basic facilities; however all the lodge on route trekking will be clean with hygienic foods. Meals with standard menu depending upon the time of the seasons especially vegetable items, however all meals are served hygienically with proper care. Food main items are Nepal set Dal / Bhat with vegetable or meats (buff / chicken) Noodles items (fried or boiled with soups) Potatoes (fried / boiled / curry) and etc some place with fresh bakeries cakes, pies and pastries available.
