  • Phulchowki Day Hiking:

Phulchowki Hill top at 2,760 meters high and 18 kms South East of Kathmandu and is reached via Godawari Botanical Gardens.  It is famous for birds and some wild life with awesome panorama of mountains views from the top of Phulchowki with Annapurna, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal towards North West and with central Himalaya range of mountains of Langtang-Jugal Himal and continues towards North East Mt. Everest and other adjoining high Himalayan peaks.

  • Nagrkot & Chisopani from a day to 2-3 days country walks:
    A pleasant and moderate walks around North of Kathmandu valley rim of an hour or less drive, walk uphill into forested area of rhododendron-pines and oaks trees and terraced farm land with country villages, to reach at Chisopani hill ridge at 2,240m for stunning sunrise views over range of mountains.

For more hikes continue to Nagarkot at 2,100 meters high famous hill station with mountain resorts offers fabulous views of snowcapped peaks with sunrise and sunset.

For energetic people can continue to walk to Dhulikhel or downhill to Changunarayan Temple area near Bhaktapur.

Peace / Shanti Stupa, a Buddhist Pagoda on a hilltop, also known as Ananda hill, built by a Japanese monk with local supporters under the guidance of head monk .

This beautiful spot offers tremendous overwhelming views of Pokhara valley and of the snow-capped peaks towards the north.

  • Sarankot hill top the tallest spot at 1, 460 meters with super views of mountains, Pokhara green valley and its city with Phewa Lake below, beside the fabulous panorama famous for paragliding which is one of the most popular adventure sports around this scenic place.
