Frequently Asked Questions

This is one of the moderate trekking with uphill and downhill walks with gradual winding path, as Nepal country of mountains and hills so expect few hours of climb and descend, trek at your own easy pace to enjoy the views and local environment.
Depending upon the season of trekking, autumn and winter months can get cold above 2,000 meters especially morning and night time but the day is pleasant with sunny days most of the season. Other season beside monsoon / wet months is pleasant with occasional thunder showers during late afternoon.
This is a moderate trekking chances of getting AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) is vague, highest overnight stop will be at Ghorepani 2,874 meters just for one night and then highest elevation at Poon Hill view point 3,210 meters high. On this trek getting AMS is slim and one will be heading downhill as well to lower altitude after being for few days at 2,500 m above.
At present since last few decades the standard of Tea-House and lodges on route have improved with clean rooms and dining halls with common and attached bathroom in some places. However the standards are basic and simple with clean and homely hospitality of the locals, facilities for charging your camera and cell / phone batteries with running hot / cold showers at extra cost. Meals with standard menu depending upon the time of the seasons especially vegetable items, however all meals are served hygienically with proper care. Food main items are Nepal set Dal / Bhat with vegetable or meats (buff / chicken) Noodles items (fried or boiled with soups) Potatoes (fried / boiled / curry) and etc some place with fresh bakeries cakes, pies and pastries available.
